About Us

Golden View Condominium is a private development in the centre of the vibrant Sunset Crest on the exciting west coast of Barbados, in Holetown, St. James.  The large 4 storey property sits on 5 acres of beautifully manicured land and comprises of 120 privately owned 1-bedroom apartments, with elevator access to upper floors.  Mature peaceful gardens, a large swimming pool, shared laundry facilities, management office, restaurant and bar, individual gazebos, private parking, 24 hour front desk/reception, security facilities and on site Property Manager, rate this delightful property among the best on the island.

 

Constructed in 1972, Golden View forms part of the Sunset Crest Development conceived by Mr Alfredo Leforet.  It is located in the centre of the neighbourhood on the eastern side of Sunset Crest area.  It is adjacent to the exclusive Sandy Lane Golf Course, the Sandy Lane Estate.  

 

Each apartment is individually owned & managed and over the years most have undergone modifications and upgrades, offering their own unique style and decor.  The same floor plan of a comfortable 700 sq ft/65 sq m space allows one generous air-conditioned bedroom, a single bathroom, dressing room/closet, a combined dining/living area, kitchen with appropriate appliances and accessories, and an enclosed balcony.

 

Golden View is very conveniently located within easy walking distance to several beaches, many fine cafes, bars & restaurants and fine dining, duty-free shopping, supermarkets & shops, public transport and medical services.

 

Golden View was the first Condominium in the Condominium Act of Barbados and is officially called the Proprietors Unit Plan (PUP) No 1!  It was incorporated November 1972 and is currently managed by a non-executive 7 member board, which includes the Chairman, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary and 3 Directors.  All of the directors are property owners and are voted for by the larger community at each Annual General Meeting (AGM), held in February.  The appointments are for 1 year and there is no limit to the number of times individuals can serve.  


On a day to day basis the operations of the company are managed by the following staff members:

  • Receptionists – Cheryl Hall-Springer & Geneva Hoyte-Bruce

  • General Worker – Rashid Depradine

The current (2023-2024) Golden View Condominium Board of Directors consists of:

Please note that Management at Golden View do not respond to sale or rental enquiries.  Please contact your realtor or booking agent directly.

Each unit at Golden View is privately owned and typically the interiors of their apartments are maintained to a high standard. Therefore the rental contract, rental price, services offered, configuration, furnishings and decor will vary between units.  

 

Management at Golden View make no representations relative to the condition, sale or rental of a unit as this is the sole responsibility of the owner and/or their agent.

 

All guests and tenants at Golden View are asked to respect the Rules and Regulations at all times.  A copy is available on request.
